Memories and pictures from my days in Mui Ne Vietnam 2009
So here I am, with sun outside the little cabin in New Zealand. Blue skies and ocean right outside my door and it's time to leave, pack the bags and head for another destination. This time in the land of promise, the Vine Orchards Mekka, South Island and Blenheim. The pruning season has just started and we thought of trying our luck and gain some knowledge along the way. Gone are the days of Kiwi fruit picking and it's with a sigh of relief, it was hard work!
But it always saddens me a bit, leaving I mean. Not that I would like to stay here, in this little Motor Camp forever, carrying dishes between cabins, sharing bathrooms and toilets with gray haired and less fashion interested ladies and most of all, that picking. But still, can't help feeling like a kid again enjoying the ocean for one last time before getting in the car and leave when the summers gone. Back to the city and school, back to routines and what I felt, boring back then. No it's another place that will end up being a memory, a distant place that I will come back to in my head but perhaps, never ever again physically.
Sad, well that's the deal when you Backpack, move on, leave people, places and footsteps behind..
Love the lime and the ribbon in her hair..might give that a go soon?
