Between laces in Dunedin...

For everyone that has been following my posts lately there has been a constant battle on what to wear for a two day wedding event down in Dunedin/New Zealand.
My hunt begun (probably around 2 months ago) and as I have grown more confident behind the wheel of our slightly run down Mazda I have explored various shopping malls and little quaint thrift stores scattered around Tauranga where we now live. There has been a big trend over-riding any frills and silk and that’s lace this year. Free People is one of the labels where I've found a great runner up, one being 'of course' a lace dress...
With that confirmed I ended up with two dresses both in lace, one in a more fluorescent yellowish colour with a contrast zip in the back and the other in a soft pale pink (pictured above) online from Asos. The jewellery was a humble mix of vintage silver chains from my grandmother (that recently passed away) to a gold colored Gorjana star necklace and my ever so reliable Ray-Ban sunnies.
My head piece was a vintage wedding fascinator found on etsy.com….With the wedding now all behind me I’ll settle on over-sized t-shirts and cut off shorts for a while:-
