Jackie styles for Spring Trend - 'Mini Jackets aka Jackie Kennedy'
'Mini Jackets a la Jackie Kennedy' and on with the glowes girls..
Sweapt the hot streets of Bangkok, again I might add and skipped the airy Malls for some flie-infested charm instead. I tried my best not to look to disappointed, blending in with all the other happy-looking tourist that didn't seem to mind the selection of 'same same and then some'. I kept on finding nothing else but stretchy cotton pants that show everyones panty-line and make it jiggle and jaggle as you walk and printed tunics. Where was the news value and remotly interesting and eye-catching items? I stopped for an ice-coffe at seven-eleven or more correctly 7/24 as it actually is down here, and suddenly I saw something...Mini jackets a la Jackie Kennedy style and I kept thinking of all the great summer-party's be attended in theese. Why not wear it with xl long pearl-neckles and some cute gloves? Or mix it up with a plain t-shirt and a pair of worn out jeans..the use was endless.
The use is endless and my heart began to pound again, something different thank god. Buying it is something else, I walked up, still with the straw in my mouth trying not to look directly at the jackets..Pretending that I was just stopping by "only looking" and not at all interested. This is part of the bargain game, nobody smiles until the buy is finalised, and then I'm always hoping that the sales clerk doesn't smile to much making me wonder if I could have got it for less, way less is usually the case.
After a moment of pretending 'not to be interested' the seller dived on another customer forcing me to tap on her shoulder and actually ask for the price. I'm screwed, this is going to cost me. Then again comparing to prices back home, nothing really really cost you, not in the extent that you have to choose between not eating out for the rest of the month or looking georgeous in a little top with a label.
So here they are, my goodies..and by they way, the seller did smile when I walked off but I think it was a combination of having some fun togheter and..well I admit not haggeling they way I should..
