passing time, waiting for him...
It’s Saturday morning. I have been up since 6.30, gently tip toeing (well as gently as I can in this current over-weight state of mine:) ...across the squeaky floor boards not to wake my husband or our little girl. She was all snuggled up in the warm nursery when I peaked in.
I am now 5 days over-due, 40 weeks and 2 days away from being 41 weeks pregnant and as big as I could possibly be. It’s been a very blessed and easy pregnancy with only a few dead tired days during my first few weeks of being pregnant but that quickly got solved by topping up the iron intake.
It’s just the surprise of not having him here with us yet, being so fully organized as well. Packed the hospital bags well over two weeks ago and now realising that I might need a top or two out of that neatly folded piles (not to mention my baby daughters diapers and spare milk bottles). The bassinette stands empty and if it wasn’t for my ever precent stomach and the thumps and kicks in there it’s almost like he never came.
So with all the spare time suddenly won (and possibly in a desperate attempt to stray my mind on other things) I’ve indulged in a pair of Ash Grey almost white looking Hunter Boots for all those planned beach walks with my little ones. The pants have been a resort for my growing body,Free People, awh a little bit of freedom amongst it all…ps. both these pieces (the Hunter Boots in grey + my Free People pants/Storm chaser pants)are currently both on Sale at Shopbop at the moment, that's if you need a little pick me up:-)
