Being related to a bad mood, something that is neither bad or good and really is in between or just over-all dull weather, the scale of gray and the name itself is less inviting than any of the other shades and tones of the scale. But choose to dress in it this season, it doesn't have to be dull and depressing, quite the opposite. With gray as a base you are easily allowed to play with 'note' colours like canary yellow or burgundy red, coral or a bubbelgum pink,so a lick of lipstick and some nailpolish to go with it...xx Alice

I couldn't agree more with this post, I am a massive fan of grey and it has never put me in a bad mood!
The pieces you have chosen really bring out the best side in this neglected colour. Cant wait to read your next posts.

Grey is such a great colour and can be matched with pretty much everything. Very classic and a nice (much needed) change from black. I have great plans for grey! :)

Hi Evelyn..
Slightly sounding like I have to much spare time on my hands, I have been thinking about expressions about grey, like: grey as a mouse or grey zone and came to the conclusion that dressing like an elephant or similarities with concrete or rocks might not be the most flattering but again, it has a lot to do with the garment and the fit, well over all design, right? So, I have decided that a thunder grey sweater, slightly over size (so that it with ease falls down from one of my shoulders)is perfect to cuddle up in while wearing a pair of boyfriend jeans. Here is goes, I just have to say it,"I think it's greyt":-)
All the best, and go back to your sketch board, get off the internet and get started with your collection..:-)Lots of 'good lucks' from designer to creator/innovator..
xx Alice
