It feels like I might go towards fringed leather boots and feathers this spring-autumn for us kiwis right now. Might melt in with the greenery so much that it will be difficult to return to take-away latte days, shopping sprees and cocktails at the 'in spot'?weather it's your coktail babe hairdue or a rough sunday with wild curls a feather makes it all so beautiful, I'm convinced that this trend is going to be a hit this late summer and better even, autumn and winter parties!!
An extra plus for that 'pinup girl look' that has a special place in my heart..
I'm hooked on the outback and might never return, simple life is a hard life, the fashion lover in me still dreams about red lipstick and a fancier feather then just a duck tail picked in a pond. It has to be slick and made properly, vintage feel and more feathers collected, get the right inspiration at the pictures and to get your hands on one, check out pinupgirlclothing.com or etsy.com/

I'm in the outback with 12 proud days of being on the road tripping around along the New Zealand coastline in an Ambulance, Bedford with a holden motor so I've come to learn. It's been clothes stuffed in cabinets and muggy plastic bags, washing my hair in cold water bend over a sink and constantly smelling like fish bait from supporting trips to different harbors and bays with my fish crazy boyfriend..then again, I've learn to enjoy it and nowadays I get all excited when I see some tension in the surf caster.
It's been everything from small snappers that we thrown in again to the much heavier and lots bigger Khawai. I also did an interesting count up on the animals spotted so far, the famous Dolphin Moko in Mahia with a pat included, a small fishing expert that me and two Aussies got impressed by, the penguin and then chatty Turkeys in Hicks Bay, a seal that looked like a grumpy old grandpa but was much happier than that right of the coast 2 hours drive from Palmerston North, crabs along the way both on the fishing rod and in the water, numerous birds like poukeko(spelling?)hawks and magpies, and today some Veals hiding from our flashlight in the river..well it's amazing what you end up seeing when waking up by a beach strip or a dew filled river side, soon off to the pack house and the kiwifruit with a break from the map-reading but life is about seeing, experiencing and simply living..
