Where all the unique things are...

I have had my coffee and I have had my yoghurt, not that any of them felt that exciting today. Instead of slowly sipping on a frothy latte and enjoying a continental croissant it was more a “eat to survive” sort of breakfast in eager to finally finish the living room painting project.

And what a project it has been. Far away from all quaint little shops and minimalized trendy café’s the living room walls became coloured in ‘latte’ and the light fittings resembling street lanterns to comfort my city 'gone country' spirit. Any chance of possibly sneak in a fitting room somewhere:)

As usual I spend a good hour turning my laptop into a street venture (pretending that I’m in Auckland, fast pasting between shops and galleries). In my ‘pretend electronic’ world I browse thrift shops, walk down to the local malls to check out any new pieces that randomly arrived or what week old season left overs possibly to bargained and then re-vamped before ever use them. Today I am extra excited since I’ve found a site that focuses on Unique Jewelry.  Designers from all over the world has put their most adorable pieces on display and gives us “home a stay mom’s” or “whop whops residents” a chance to own something really well designed and yes, unique and well up there with high end Fashion Jewelry. I shouldn’t, or should I…My wardrobe still boasting with joy since my latest bag purchase but a little horse shoe, who can say no to that?
