The Accademia Italiana Moda e' Design in beautiful Florence offers an academic program in fashion design that runs for 6 semesters. Students are guided by instructors who are industry professionals into both the design and business aspects of the industry. A 1-year master program is also available for those who wish to expand their knowledge through contact with foremost fashion designers and institutions. Academic courses are priced at 6,400 Euros per year, while the master program costs 7,900 Euros. Also in Florence, Polimoda International Institute of Fashion, Design and Marketing seeks to integrate both production and the academe in each of its programs. Polimoda offers both undergraduate and masters courses, as well as internships with some of the leading Italian design firms today to give students insight into the volatile world of fashion. International exchange programs are also offered. Undergraduate courses range from 7,000 Euros to 8,000 Euros per year, while masters programs are priced between 10,200 Euros and 13,500 Euros yearly.
