Hangtags & Necklabels
Hangtag & Necklabels
I'm using Abercrombie & Fitch Size for the Hangtag, but it will of course be my Design on it: Alice Rooslien, Never Be Naked Again and then printed on Raw Silk.
Thursday, half cloudy here in Manawatu but sunny inside since I finally sent the last email with changes to my Vendor:
I haven't talked much about my Collection and how the production is going, perhaps due to a delay and slow down since reaching New Zealand. I can admit that I haven't been on the creative side and I the focused has instead been more on selling samples from the travels rather than wanting to deal with necklabel and hangtags..But finally did it, now the email is sent to the Manufacturer and I'm now waiting for pictures of changes that has been made, I'm hoping it's all perfect and that the only comment I have to say is, 'okay, let's ship this bulk and get some things happening'..
So what's the plan, you might ask?
Well, the idea is to have a Roadtrip here in New Zealand during the next comming weeks, checking both the Market and the Fashion scene locally while also trying to sell the brand. I'm putting a small order-book ready, something with style numbers, order sheets, adresses and contact number plus heaps of pictures and of course in a nice style. This panflipp will be a 'business card' that I will hand out after showing my clothes, the question is, To Call or not to Call? A lot of Store owners/Managers want all meetings or the drop ins to be pre-booked but I also know many 'up and comming designers' that just give it a go and show up with all the samples, this could be an advantage since there is no expectations. This is the most feared point and I'm a little bit set on: 'No thanks, but thanks' and then some quiet whipspers as I make my exit. But I have to, it's a growing experience that I will learn from.
So, the Hangtags are set and the Necklabel sent today..updates will come and please feel free to ask questions or comment..
