Ugg boots is not just the surfers choice?
Ugg isn't just boots it's a 'surfers' attitude..
Wednesday 12 August

Ugg isn't just a soft sheepskin 'sock' looking boot it's also a relaxed cozy style that is reflected in the number of celebs that like mooseing along between high fashion stores on a day off. I just had to digg a little bit in this, why are they still so popular or is it like the jeans, just more than a pant or a shoe, it's simply adjusted to a need as well?

I wasn't the biggest fan of them when Pamela Anderson and Britney of all people was spotted in them. But it has grown on me and it's a little bit like the guys sneakers, it's empowering to dress down and have a real day off from dressing up instead dressing down? I now know what the deal is all about..(I admit that I now am the owner of a pair)...so this is my confession, they are comfortable!
Little bit about the UGG's
Brian Smith took a bag full of sheepskin boots with him to California in 1978 for filling a much longed need in over seas surfers missing their feet-warmers. A lifestyle was born amongst not just the surfers, but us ever so stressed out city slickers wanted them as well and the rest is history, a brand was born..

By the 1970s, in Perth, the largest city on Australia’s West Coast, Ug boots were being manufactured by several small companies in the area. Perth has much the same climate as Southern California and is also a haven for surfers, whom Aussies call “surfies.” And it was the community of surfies at the great surfing beaches at Margaret River near Perth who first adopted Ug Boots as their footwear of choice and made them a symbol of the Aussie surfing lifestyle.
Ug Fever Spreads

From the beaches of Western Australia, Ugs were soon seen on the feet of East Coast surfers from Brisbane to Sydney. And it wasn’t long before some of these surfers — the ones who traded their surfboards for skis in the winter — found that their Ug Boots were just as at home in the ski resort areas of the Snowy Mountains as they were on the warm sands of Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

It was Aussie surfers, traveling the world in search of the perfect wave,Ugg Boots who first introduced their mates in Southern California to the pleasures of the Ug Boot. Ugs soon became a cult fashion among those L.A. surfers who could depend on a buddy ‘down under” to send them a pair of boots.

Now, I'm obsessed.
I have lavender and black Uggs. I didn't wear them too much this past winter but they're still great to throw on!
Up until last year I couldn't stand UGGS. I found them unattractive, cumbersome, and extremely bulky. Now, I'm obsessed. I have numerous pairs in all different colors, and even invested in Cardy UGGS - fabulous! They're such an adorable way to stay warm in the winter, and they look tres cute when paired with skirts, shorts, and dresses in the summer. Overall, a very versatile piece of footwear! :)
Hi Fashionista!
Yes, your right..it's possible to change your mind about something, in this case the infamous or famous UGG's.
I love the fact that you have added a pair of cardy UGG's..just had to put a picture up on a pair so that others can get an idea of what they might look like. Have fun with your cozy ones..Kate Hudson has a pair..
Lots of Love!
