Avatar in 3D, not just a movie, simply an experience..where is my dragon..

I have to admit that: if I'm not endulging myself in season sales and latest fashion finds I am a total geek when it comes to movie nights.

I love them, I plan and look forward to them. All hyped up and ready for the next adventure and the next escape. Previous to Avatar (that I went to last night) I 'painfully' went through 'The timetravellers wife', really and utmost silly in every sence, perhaps see for yourself..anyways, I always get a little suspicious when it"s a movie that 'everyone' loves. Jeez I think to myself, probably some midstream 'jaws' or worst, a total space movie where it's unreal and computerized and complicated, meaning: the usage of to many weird space destinations nobody's 'of course' ever heard about and names and techniques that just confuses..but, Avatar: to my astonishment is: REAL, GENUINE, and a beautiful LOVE STORY..well guys, lucky ones that haven't seen it yet..your in for a real treat..it's a great, great movie..The sad thing is, leaving the cinema I was suddenly struck with a sence of emptyness and questions like: is my life boring, gray, less exciting? I don't have a dragon, no wild stallion and no magic trees in the wet wedgie garden outside our muggy rental here in Christchurch. I am acting as my weeks and months where made in a wheel, cleaning, doing dishes or sogging down clean ones just by eating and then do it all over again. All I have is the piling bills, a work that doesn't allow much creativity and no smiling masculine Avatar alien to dream about, saying that I have my wonderful fiancee and he will make up for any warrior seen on pretty much any movie..it is quite sad that we so desperatly need and want to escape reality for, reality like he says in the Avatar movie requiers us all to...Wake Up..
