Santa can you give me a chanel bag for christmas,hermes scarf, a pair of manolos,no?

Not this year, perhaps never always getting the next best thing and if lucky I might 'once in a blue moon' trip over a well used vintage label that will fit a prime spot in the hallway, a spotlight on it perhaps?

Fashion Designers are Style Icons of their own, not just for what they create or have created, it's for the simple reason that they have made it, climbed all the way to the top in a business that is highly competetive, we all want to know the secret and how they did it, at least us struggeling 'novises' with a small dream of our own.

Even if my wardrobe lacks a guestlist like Vivienne or Christian their cloths inspire and makes us fall in love, over and over again. But if I invensted a 'small fortune' I would probably(with my luck)spill wine on it five minutes after entering the party, but wearing a chanel would be an entry well worth remembering..
