A few weeks ago I got an invitation to a school event called Tauranga Girl’s School Fashion Parade which is a yearly event of what the local fashion stores has to offer. The girls get sponsored on the day by shops who want to be seen and recognised and in return proud parent's and other lovers of fashion and entertainment get to enjoy themselves for a few hours.  

Today was the day, the day that my FREEBIRD by Steven Phoenix low dipped booties finally arrived. There's something magical with ombre bleached garments or highlights for that matter...

Yesterday I was celebrating mother’s day by reading a book about another approaching adventure, raising a little boy.

It has been raining all day today...and I'm looking at swimwear.

There’s just one little thing with this withdrawn summer, it’s so sticky and hot still and being 33 weeks pregnant like I am right now it has been very sort of ‘huffing and puffing’ between grocery stores and walks with my little one. Not just that, it brings on a very limited wardrobe as well. Who wants to squeeze into a pair of pants (no matter how wide legged they might be) when it’s humid and somewhere between 23 and 25 degrees.

What a beautiful Saturday, slash, husbands birthday. I have spent the last couple of days contemplating what to give him. He’s one of those guys that always says “Hunny, I don’t need anything”…”just you”…That should make me so happy but I want to give him something, I want him to actually need or want something. So what better then to drive in to the ‘bunker shop’ at Tauranga Airport and give him a ‘glider’ voucher so that he can get whisked up in the clouds and try flying for a day.

I am now well and truly showing and getting on towards week 33, only 7 weeks to go, which is really exciting. This time around I have been much more inclined to enjoy being pregnant (actually not eating as much or of the wrong stuff, and definitly not gaining the same either..puh my first pregancy, I most likely gained half a person and then some:-).

I'm still keeping my bohemian wardrobe without much change. With that said, Free People boho dresses and curly hair is pretty easy to fit and maintain. I found some good info online that I thought I'd share with you guys today:-)...

Happy Monday, Happy Easter!

I am trying to soak up whatever's left of this wonderful, warm and brief summer here in New Zealand. It's with a slight sorrow that I wrap myself in more layers and look at the pile of dusty shoes, ready to be worn in the downstairs closet. However brief and quick it all went I have that buzz left inside me, of sunshine and calm evenings when we walk down to the beach and go for a swim.
