Native styles and Aztec prints clothing is the way to hot up your plain cotton dress this season..

I have returned to my roots in Sweden and have been busy meeting up with long lost friends and planning my wedding along the way, nerves and arrangements is currently stopping my sketching and collection process but I'm enjoying being with family and friends just creating gold attachements on my bridesmaids dresses and flower portals. The heat has been immense and all my packed clothes from New Zealand seems useless in comparison to what I've actually been wearing..whats missing for beach leasure or strolling around in the harbour town of Visby would be a vintage looking leather bag or an alluring tribal one..I have found a  bargain on Ebay and can't wait for it to arrive by mail.

I want House of Harlow 1960, native styles and the blast from the past.

Nicole Richie knows fashion..Butter Maddie Navajo Suede Bootie, it comes in brown as well..I have written about Aztek prints clothing and native prints before but it wasn't until the Spring/Summer Wardrobe spread it's wings over black and the charchoal gray winter wardrobe that it was accessable for a bigger audience, to my joy..ready to be bought on several online stores..

Everything remotly native was either sold out or on a Preorder list and it wasn't much to choose from. Now it's the best accent pattern and style to any outfit this summer. Don't forget the colored pearls and the braids girls!

Velvet Leggings

I'm currently browsing different shopping sites, looking for suitable pieces to add to my summer wardrobe. Something that is light-weight and easy to pack along with the longer crinkled shirts and leather sandals I already stocked up on. These velvet leggings from David Lerner's Collection are simply stunning, even if it might be a little bit too hot for a summer day they will be perfect for a night out with the girls..

Leather 'half a knuckle'..gloves

I have searched this half biker glove before: Read Over size knit and biker accessories.

Now to something else, I'm counting down and it's only a one week race left to go before I pack my things at work and walk out from the Mall.. 5 days to be exact! I then plan to dedicate myself (one hundred percent) to get my little clothing brand seeded and for another BIG new adventure, planning my own wedding!..I feel alive, fresh with ideas and over all excited about the weeks ahead..In the meantime, I couldn't help myself adding this knuckle stud since that's one of the accessories I have been looking for, it's taken quite a while..*more then welcome to share your finds below..xx alice

All things striped..

Monday 26 of April..

I have officially and not painfully resigned. It was something I gave a lot of thought and then after weeks of planning I asked for  a brief 10 minutes with my boss and then, just like that..my future was sealed. I got 4 weeks of work before I have to leave the cosmetic counter for good..The countdown is starting now until the 15 th of May and in all honesty, I can't wait..This gives me hundred percent of sparetime in working on my brand and lots more time to simply live and get inspired..yeehaa..in the meantime I'm staking out some new 'musts' for this season, what about something striped? Over sized knits and biker accessories is what I want for this season..

I was relaxed, half asleep and tired after a busy day in the shop, when American Idol was on TV. I suspected a theme since the girls where trendy top to toe, perhaps Win by wearing a label.  The next singer appeared on stage with brown soft curls, a white corset: Label Wera Wang and then...I almoast spilled my cup of tea..a lovely pair of studded leather gloves just covering half the palm of her hand..I had to have them..after much research I stumbled upon a very good number 2. Flexi's hairclips needs another mention, it's true vintage flair..

You can make it feel like christmas every day..I surprised myself forgetting that they where ever ordered, when my little box of Flexi's came by a rushed mailman today..Lovely, no lovelier then I could ever imagine, they are heavy and unique looking and really easy to use. I'll let these hairclips brighten my day while resting up from a hellish week with heaps of 'musts' and do's at the counter..

I just had to put on some of my own photos of my also very own stable of Flexi-8's..If you want a little vintage flair these darlings is perfect..easy to use and lovely, heavy and fun..
